Hi all!

I need your help.

• I have installed SWTOR
• I have run SWTOR_fix.exe
• The launcher starts OK
• The launcher patches itself and restarts
• I can log onto the server OK.
• The game assets are downloaded OK
• I can press START and the introduction movies are played.
• The introduction screen is displayed, and the progress wheel is active.

Then no more progress.

If I run SWTOR_fix.exe again, the launcher starts, but patches itself again, and result is the same.

Is there anything I can do differently? Any help is greatly appreciated. I would SO love to play SWTOR on CrossOver.

I confused FixLauncher.exe and swtor_fix.exe When running swtor_fix.exe instead of FixLauncher.exe the launcher does not patch itself on startup anymore.

When using Configure=>Manage bottles=>Bottle (tab)=>Open C: Drive and launching swtor_fix.exe then launcher.exe, THE GAME STARTS!

I am at the character selection screen, and vectors look insane. No recognizable 3D objects. I'll see what I can figure out. Menu and background is OK. Only the character in the center is garbled.

So, latest report. I have no solution to the garbled vectors.

I can start a character and play the game!

Many vectors are drawn OK, but many are drawn very wrong. Especially the character is so garbled it is not playable.

I will investigate more, but I have no clues or leads, so I am not very hopeful.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

SOLVED!

I had to avoid using the NVIDIA chip set (MBP 15" Retina mid 2012)

GALACTIC thanks to Scaredy for directing me to gfxCardStatus-2.3.zip which will let you switch graphics chip set to "Integrated".

So far the game runs perfectly :) HAPPY!

So I get in and everything but after running around for about 30 seconds my toolbars disappear and I lose control of my character. Any tips

I'm trying to install SWTOR_fix.exe into my SWTOR bottle but it freezes at 50% during installation....any ideas?

I've gotten SWTOR_fix.exe to run but the launcher still hangs while trying to patch. (even after repairing the launcher) any ideas?
