Ok guys ive managed to get this game working. Firstly you need to have crossover games.

1. Create a new bottle.
2. Install DirectX9 and Microsoft visual c++ 2008.
3. Install Internet Explorer. (Not sure if this step is needed for SWTOR but i did it cause some games require IE browser)
4. Install SWTOR. (I copied the entire game from my bootcamp over though)
5. Google for this programme called SWTOR_fix.exe
6. Copy swtor_fix.exe into the same folder as you installed SWTOR.
7. Run swtor_fix.exe
8. Run SWTOR
9. TADAH! You can play it already.

I tried the game without swtor_fix.exe and it hangs at the splash art loading screen before character selection.
Googled for a few nights and found this little programme swtor_fix.exe.
Tried it and it works! Surpringly, no lag, only some minor visual bugs.
For example, the interface editor.
Alot of the interface stuff are invisible.
Have to fiddle and click around to light it up.
Other than that, have not found any other bugs yet.
Will update this post if I found anything!

i was wondering, how do i know the Swtor_fix.exe is actually running???

@Ryan Way - You can see by going to the manage bottles and clicking the SWTOR bottle. Then click on control panel. Then click on the task manager in the applications menu. It will be listed in the processing programs list.

@rainald - I did everything exactly like you did but my launcher keeps saying unable to receive patch data. Would you happen to know how to fix this?

Hmm im not really sure though. Sometimes it doesnt connect to the launcher server and all i did was to restart the app and it works. maybe you try to launch the launcher without swtor_fix first. see if it connects. and im using crossover 12. so make sure its the same for yours.

And this is something i have to tell you guys. dont open the launcher and swtor_fix from the shortcut in the application folder. tried it many times it doesnt work. you have to open the .exe programme directly from the c drive. so go to manage bottles, locate the c drive of the bottle where you installed both the game and the swtor_fix and open from there.

Sorry for the late response but I fixed my problem. I just went into the internet security settings in the bottle applications list and changed the settings to low. Now that got fixed I have been playing for the past few days. You are right on opening the swtor_fix.exe and launcher.exe from inside the c drive.

The only bugs I get are small lag spikes here and there, the game crashing if you hover any icons on your map or mini map and very rare crashes that happen randomly otherwise the game runs smooth.

Did you copy the installer for SWTOR from the official disk, the internet download,or copy your whole boot camp install? I tried selecting my boot camp folder and it wouldnt accept it. I also did a full install from my disk,and then put the patch file in and it didn't work either.
