well i guess this update causes the newest CO to not work so i guess we gotta wait till the build comes out again for us to use the game again.

On this I had to revert back to 11.0 build to get the game to run properly.

Hi,
you mean the supported regular 11.0 ? Did you do anything special for it to work?

Nope nothing I just downloaded it and didn't update it when it told me too. But my graphics and loading screens take forever to take that is something I think is wrong on CO side.

Okay so I decided to try and update the CO and I did and now Swotr is not running so do not update your CO!!!!!! Do not they have not fixed the previous issues yet still use the unsupported Build of CO for running the game.

Jeff

Hey Jeff,
thanks for your answer.
The unsupported build does not work for me. As I have posted on the sticky about the unsupported build, I get the black screen after pressing "play" on launcher. I 've done the registry changes but still nothing. I only hear the music on the background and see the game cursor.

hey Kon make sure you downloaded the setup properly and make sure it was installed correctly too and let me know from there also what is your Mac info?

Hey Jeff,
The download and the setup went fine. I am running on a Linux PC, not Mac. Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit with an ATI HD6870.

Ekk I don't know what to tell you since i dont run Linux sorry man.

Have you done the "UseGLSL=disabled" registry key? At one point this was necessary for all ATI systems (although that has since changed).

Sorry for coming into this late but are you saying you can get SWTOR to work on your iMac iOS? I would love to know and hate switching to windows.

Thanks

Joe

Yes I have but all i get after i click "play" is the background music black screen and the game cursor

Hey so what I found out is once you do get the game going choose a server on your coastal region or area it will decrease your server lag and make sure your first character is not a Sith Warrior or else you wont get anywhere because once you leave for the empire capital the game freezes on us which doesn't make sense but anyways good luck. On this note i am still having major lag issues even though I have found many programs to run the game decent.
