This game works if DirectX 9 and Microsoft Visual Basic 6 Service Pack 6 runtime are installed.

Install Software>Runtime Support Components>DirectX 9 and Microsoft Visual Basic 6 Service Pack 6 runtime

Also, in Wine Configuration, graphics need to be set to 'Emulate a virtual desktop.'
