I have installed the game, but when I attempt to run it the game checks my hardware and reports that I do not have "Non-Specific Generic OpenGL 1.4.0 drivers."
I'm not exactly sure how I would go about installing these. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The game is doing something wrong. It checks the OpenGL vendor string, and expects a very specific string the Windows drivers happen to use. The Apple drivers call themselves differently, so the game says "duh, don't know you" and refuses to run
Note that doing such a thing violates the basic principles of OpenGL. The vendor string is just meant for informal reasons(e.g. to tell the user which graphics card is in use). An application should never ever rely on the contents of this string to work.
Umm... That doesn't really help. How would I get around this?
Don't use the Hardware detection tool. Just configure graphics, soud and controls manually.
