Can't get SWG to run on MacBook

I've downloaded the Cross-over-Games demo to see if I could get it to work with SWG. After installing it I launched the SWG installer I downloaded from the official website and seemed to install it - although it took less than 2 seconds. But now when I try to run SWG it doesn't launch. It seems to open it but nothing happens. I've tried to install it several times but nothing happens.
My MacBook has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2.4 Ghz, 2 gb memory, an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M with 256 mb memory and Mac OS X v. 10.5.6

Thanks in advance

I have the same problem. Maybe someone have a solution???

I made a windows xp bottle with the crossover HTML engine first. Then using that bottle I downloaded station launcher on my mac and opened the .exe. It installed fine, but the launcher kept disappearing from the screen. When I went to programs and clicked it again the window comes back. Just keep doing that until you get to download star wars galaxies. Sort of annoying, but it gets the job done and allows the game to be played. I also found that after you download SWG and have closed crossover, to play it again you have to open swg first from the programs list. It'll do nothing, but if you then open station - games right after you can login and continue doing the annoying task of opening station - games again and again from the programs menu. This works for me and I can play SWG no problem on my Macbook Pro (Early 2008). Hope this helps to all of you that are trying to play.

The only issue I have now is not being able to adjust the out of game settings for swg aka the video resolution and shaders. You have to open prefrences from station launcher, but the window disappears like the station - games window except I can't bring it back.

Hi,

Have you tried enabling 'Emulate a virtual desktop' using winecfg?

Cheers!
