I just wanted to say that with CrossOver Games 10.x on Mac (OS X 10.6) you can get this game up and running.
Just install the game, CrossOver HTML Engine (not sure about this, my first test installation would not work without), CoreFonts, Direct-X (Modern) and dotNet-Framework 2.0.

Do not start the game with the launcher instead use the "Safemode" start option.
