There's only one rating here of "Known Not To Work" -- does anyone have any more details? i.e. does it crash, not launch, etc; what version of the game was it? The one from Steam, or another pre-purchase, is this the open beta, or one of the closed ones, or even an alpha build?
Added second known not to work.
Crashes on launch, no extra info just Cryptic's bug reporting window. Install is the open beta client fresh install.
This game just went into Open Beta Testing yesterday, I have been a part of the closed beta test for the last several weeks. This game is made by the same ppl that has made Champions Online, which seems not to be able to work under Xrossover. The gaems street release date is staled for Feb. 2010.
I get the same error where the game crashes and brings up Cryptic's bug reporter. It would seem that since the game displays the 2D loading screens it crashes upon trying to launch the 3D renderer.
I was unable to get it to work - but I will be testing more extensively soon.
Some guys have gotten it to work. Unfortunately my own experience with it has been not that succesful thus far. :(
