Hello,
I have tried to load STO with TIE and without TIE and receive the same results, it will not install. I do have a bottle I made using plain WINE 1.5.13 that launches, the buttons work, patches, and logons; however, the mouse butotons stop working (the game stops accepting mouse input) in the character character creator. I was hoping CrossOver would resolve this challenge but I cannot get the game to install.
The one error I had was incorrect parameters passed to WINE. Anyone have any suggestions? I have read many forums. I have tried many solutions even if they did not directly apply. I have Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, Radeon HD 3870 X2 card, 4 GB RAM. Thanks for any suggestions.
