Works well, but has a bit of a mouse issue on the menus.

I'm running Crossover Games 9.0
OS X 10.6.3.
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16 ghz
Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT with 128 mb VRAM

The game installs and loads, but we have a double-mouse problem on the menu screens. A black mouse is stuck in the center, and the game-mouse is stuck at the bottom with very limited movement. Luckily, I can navigate the menus with the error screen, and in-game the mouse seems okay.

Is there anything that might improve mouse performance?

I had added a similar issue to the non-Steam Forum:

"I think this was running perfectly around beta 4, but after that the cursor wants to move to the bottom of the screen no matter what. A strange bug that renders the game unplayable now. A real shame.

EDIT - This is perhaps best attached to App ID 7063 (Steam version), but I'm pretty sure this was added after I started advocating this title."

I had thought keyboard navigation impossible at the time as I hit the down cursor key to wrap around to the top and nothing happen; it's just that the menu doesn't wrap around.

The game itself is working flawlessly for me, other than that initial menu problem; cursor falling.

There was a post about this issue on the MacRumors Forum:
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=858399

The advise they gave there is to use the arrow keys to go to 'options' and then try to hit the 'full screen' button (to turn off 'full screen') and then hit the 'apply' button. This takes a lot of patience.

However, in the windowed mode, the mouse works.

Here's the problem:
In full-screen, the mouse doesn't work on the menus, so I therefore can't load a game.
In windowed mode, I get this screen:

For the initial menu! So I can press enter a couple of time, start a new game, and load a game from there. No problem. But that is a messed up opening menu.

My Star Trek Bridge Commander menu has been doing something similar since 9.0.

The gameplay on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is great (though I kinda feel the mouse is off-center, so I feel a little drunk when I play), but otherwise, it all works great. Definitely not a gold, but I'd give it a silver since it mostly works.
