I see Space Rangers 2 + Reboot is available on Steam. Of course I'm wondering if the "Steamification" has improved compatibility. Has anyone tried it yet?

I went ahead and bought the Steam version, and am seeing exactly the same behavior that Clocknova saw on the Impulse version - the game seems to run fine, but the graphics aren't getting drawn. Oh well.
