Cannot Get Steam Version to Work

Nothing happens when I download it inside Steam and click "Play." Only an "installing DirectX" message, then nothing.

Trying to run the .exe directly in the steamapps folder generates a "returned 53" error message. How did the person who posted the screenshots get it to work? Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Updating to Crossover v. 16 solved my problem. Thanks anyway!
