CX 6 B3 - Full Install Failed

Tried to do an install from original 2 CD version. Disk 1 loads up fine and starts to install however at the prompt for disk 2 I can not get it to eject disk 1. At this point I had to cancel the installation and it did a roll back to remove the files. If I remember correctly you need to put disk 1 back in at the end of the installation as well.
Would be interesting to see how it runs if I can get the second CD in to do an install.

Running Mac OSX 10.4.8 and Crossover 6.0 Beta 3

With the full release of version 6 and the mention of a new Eject button I decided to give this installation ago again.

Disk one again installs fine again and no issues at all. The prompt came up asking for CD2 and this time I went to the installation screen and clicked Eject, Crossover asks me to confirm i wanted to do this, i did and nothing.

Sadly the eject function didn't eject the disc so i can not try this out.

As soon as installation was halted the disk could be ejected normally (something OSX wont let me do during installation as it says it is in use)

Was worth a try. Just in case you are wondering why i am trying to get a game that is around for OSX already working in Crossover, 1. I have the PC version already (and even if i didnt it is a lot cheaper) and 2, It was not supported to the latest patch so the Mac version never got punkbuster.

I believe we have tracked this issue down and it will be fixed in 6.1. We were having a similar issue with the Call of Duty install across multiple CDs on the Mac.

It still fails in the end, but you can use 'diskutil eject /Volumes/sofii_1' or 'diskutil eject /Volumes/sofii_2' depeding on which disk it is.
