I've installed everything on my MacBook Pro OSX 10.7.5 and it worked fine.
When i want to start the game it keeps telling me that the Steam-Service-Component needs to be installed.
For the Installation of the Service-Component it needs to have Admin-Rights. (sorry for translation of the german text).
I haven't found a solution on this so far.
you prob have the dvd version ?
Don't the admin rights for mac work ?
i wonder what admin rights are asked ?
if it is the windows version ?
i do have the same dvd but i already activated in on windows steam account
So i can't tell if this works and im not really willing to try
because of that it might screw up my genuine version ?
