Installed CodeWeavers (trial) just now for the main and only reason of using Snel Start on my MacBook Air.
But it is giving error messages. There seems to be a foult in the install file. Everything works fine until the Snel Start program.
I ignored that and let it install. What else could I do?

There is a SS app in the CO map, I can open SS.
But on trying to find a backup it gave this bugreport:

First...

I moved your post. You responded to a thread that is nearly nine months old and occurred in an earlier release of CrossOver. It's possible that the error or problem you are seeing does not match with the question the other person asked.

Next, you didn't state whether you tried the Tie file (the CrossOver automatic install recipe) or if you tried to get SnelStart installed on it's own; I really need to know that to help you out!

Then, can you say whether you are running Mac or Linux and the version of the operating system?

Finally, can you tell us the version of CrossOver you are using.

Second, sorry for not posting al this (obviously needed) information. I will try to correct this.

Latest CrossOver, just downloaded today.
The tie file was the one you posted earlier in the post I replied to.

Well, I just retested this with my Mac also on 10.7.4 and it seems to work fine. Bare in mind that if you're trying to access a certain feature of SnelStart, I am not familiar enough with it to know how to do anything in SnelStart.

If installation is truly going wrong, I believe you may have received a corrupt download of one of the components (like IE6). You'll want to delete the "installers" folder within CrossOver ($USER/Library/Application Support/CrossOver). To access the "Library" folder you'll need to hold down the option key while you click on the "Go" drop down menu.

Then, restart the install for SnelStart.

I deleted the file and installed it again but got the same result.

Took very long time for downloading the Snel Start file.
Then all seemed to install well, SnelStart install window itself said it was installed okay.
then the CrossOver window said SnelStart was not installed.
Did try again but same result over and over.

Do you think the logfile will be of any help to you? it is quite long.
Or should I give in and find another solution?
