SlingPlayer 1.x stopped working several WINE revisions ago.

SlingPlayer 2 won't even install. The installer bombs out right away in crossover 7.1.0

Currently running Crossover 7.0.2 and was experiencing the same issues.

After discovering TRiX, I was able to create an XP bottle with a clean install of dot.net 2.0. Unfortunately the install fails towards the end when its copying the firmware files to the system.

I receive the following error message:

Error:-1603 Fatal Error during installation. Consult Windows installation help (MSI.CHM) or MSDN for more help.

I'll try to download a more current release later this afternoon to see if things change.

Error:-1603 with Crossover 7.2.0. I'll try one of the nightly builds to see if there are any improvements.

Still receiving the same MSI.CHM 1603 errors with version 8.0a2

Slingplayer 2.0.3 on Crossover Office 8 (final) /almost/ installs. It appears to install .NET 2.0 successfully and gets to the very end of the SlingPlayer installation before failing with this message:

"Unable to register SlingSDK. Please contact your system administrator to install this software."

After clicking OK, it says:

Feature Transfer Error
Error: -1063 Fatal error during installation.
Consult Windows Installer Help (msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.

I have the same issue with version 8.0.2 and the latest slingplayer.

Just tried istalling SlingPlayer 2.0 on to version 9.0a4.

It still doesn't completely install, plus a new error message
appeared that I've never seen before.

"Unable To Register SlingSDK"

Same on 8.03.

Can not Register SlingSDK...
