I have the SC4 Deluxe 2-CD package ($20 at my local software outlet). Every time I run the installer, into any kind of bottle, everything seems to go fine, but the very end of the install process crashes (or sometimes shows a cryptic "Unload the debugger and try again" dialog).
If I try to launch the app at this point, it fails (icon bounces, then disappears).
The Digital Rights Management (DRM) software in this program
prevents it from running in CrossOver. If you are in a legal jurisdiction
which allows removal of such software, you may have luck running this
program. Unfortunately, CodeWeavers, because they are subject to the
Digital Millennium Copyright Act, will be unable to support you.
I used a lot of the info in the tips and tricks to configure things so that it runs a bit better, and if I pass in the resolution options, it fills my 1920x1200 screen (woohoo!). At this point the main problem is that most of the key dialogs have text and buttons that are entirely white. Oddly, all of the other text in the program works fine, just the text inside dialog boxes. I've repeated this a few times from scratch, into different kinds of bottles and with different rendering options (software rendering seems best so far). I'll try to attach a screenshot of this going on in the bugs tab. One odd thing with the screenshot is that when it's in Window mode, some of the text shows up in dialogs, but the buttons are still white.
