This is for Simcity 4, not Simcity 4 Deluxe.

Copied CD 1 and 2 to /.cxoffice/win98/drive_c/Simcity4
Then changed directory to Apps

The Digital Rights Management (DRM) software in this program
prevents it from running in CrossOver. If you are in a legal jurisdiction
which allows removal of such software, you may have luck running this
program. Unfortunately, CodeWeavers, because they are subject to the
Digital Millennium Copyright Act, will be unable to support you.

And then started it from Run Windows Command and it worked, with sound and everything.

It will also work on Deluxe.

You guys got it to work with the OpenGL or Direct3D renderers? Or just the software one?

I've been using the software renderer.

My son purchased Crossover for his Macbook Simcity 4 Deluxe installed but will not run. Would you - or another in this thread - be kind enough to provide us with more detailed instructions for newbies? Many thanks in advance
