I thought I'd put together a list of current bugs with any possible workarounds. If you have any to add, please do so that we may have a comprehensive list.

I had no issues, but some people have reported difficultly with installing the game. If you are one of them, stop by the Tips & Tricks section for detailed instructions.

The Digital Rights Management (DRM) software in this program
prevents it from running in CrossOver. If you are in a legal jurisdiction
which allows removal of such software, you may have luck running this
program. Unfortunately, CodeWeavers, because they are subject to the
Digital Millennium Copyright Act, will be unable to support you. -
The game will sometimes randomly crash with no errors and no obvious triggers. Admittedly, this same thing occasionally happened to me when playing in Windows as well, so it may not be a problem unique to Crossover. The best you can do is save often (the game has no auto-save feature).
-
Tooltips, buildings, vehicles, etc. sometimes flicker in and out. It is an extremely minor visual glitch that can be remedied simply by moving the camera, but it is still a nuisance.
-
Trees that are placed on lots (such as parks, open grass, lawns, etc.) are invisible. I don't know of any way around this. Trees do appear normally on undeveloped terrain.

Trying to run the game in a proper window via the "-w" parameter does not currently work. In OS X, pressing Apple+Option+R (Restore Display) will allow you to play while still accessing other programs. More detailed instructions are listed in the Tips & Tricks section.
Thankfully, these are the only issues I've run across - none of them directly affect gameplay itself. In fact, most (if not all) plugins work perfectly. If while in fullscreen you told me I was in Windows, I might believe you! For now, I've given the game a well-deserved Silver rating, but I look forward to when I can give it a Gold rating.
