Silkroad worked in the past with the older wine release. I last tested it six months ago. It installed and ran okay. Last I tried from archlinux, I was unsuccessful, but this was on a 64-bit systems with arch64. I shall retest with Ubuntu linux 32bit, after ensuring all drivers are well configured. I would try crossover tonight for three games and post results. Silkroad Online should work. As it has worked for many before using Ubuntu.

Installation worked after adding Dcom98, IE6.0, and few data access updates. (will post more info next weekend when I get back home.)
Didn't have time to test the actual gaming last weekend (hey, had to wake up 21.1 at 04:00AM, and got it installed and updated around 23:30..), but will test when i get back home. (next weekend)

What are the results that you've been having? I've been able to install silkroad with crossover for mac 6.2.1 in a windows 98 bottle, it works flawlessly through the update up until you actually try to launch it. The game launches and then crash right it looks like it's going to work. Do you have any ideas?
