Failed to initialize NetEngine [Error Code(5,127)]

I am getting this error code when I attempt to start up the game. I am not sure what the problem is or if I am missing something but i have re-downloaded silkroad 6 times now and tried to run it on all the different bottles. I am running Mac OS X version 10.6.8. I am currently trying to download Silkroad R version 1.004 but i have tried the regular silkroad version 1.330 with no success. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and thank you for your time.

Hi...

...I've been trying to figure out the etymology of this,
because it does appear to have been working sometime ago
(CXG-8.0) ... but... I think I've found the case...

I'd like to add that these crashes only happen after an update that added a new
anti-cheat system, which seems to protect the game from any memory change and
it forces a crash if any anomaly would be detected. It most likely sees wine as
a debugger, therefore crashing after 1 minute (the system seems to check each
minute if it is still up and if any memory changes are detected by sending
various check packets to the server).

HINT: keep an eye on the -dates- of what you're reading ; some of this
stuff is literally years old....

...what I'm really disappointed about, here, is that NONE of the advocates
for this game, have kept the medal rankings up to date (the last medal
update being made - 2008-09-15 11:44) - and that is dereliction of advocate
duty IMHO ... and I will be asking for a review of said advocates accounts..

..ergo...I'm going to rank this as 'known not to work' forthwith ; if it is
'hackshield' or 'gameguard' or something similar they introduced to the game's
online interconnection, it will be 'some time' before we see it working in
Wine (let alone crossover). I will have a check of the title over the weekend
just to sure myself, but I think you may be wasting your time with this...

..I'll post back after the weekend...

Cheers!
