Sibelius 3 installs nicely under CO 3.01, but, on trying to run it, the program hangs at the initial registration screen. (I end up having to kill several Wine processes to clear things up.) Perhaps this has something to do with the fact that Sibelius is looking for an internet connection to verify itself? Has anyone managed to get this to work?
I get the same results with CO 4.1 - Sibelius installs, then at startup it hangs on the splash screen with the registration inquiry underneath. It is still possible to enter your registration info and it will validate, but that is as far Sibelius functions. I believe there is some unhandled exception encountered on startup (as I found by running # wine sibelius.exe through the CLI - "fixme:dialog:MSGBOX_ONInit task modal msgbox ! Not modal yet."), but I do not understand the exact problem.
