Shareaza 2.5.3.0 (32 bit) works well...with some visual artifacts and speed issues

I am running Ubuntu 10.4 under CrossOver Linux Pro 9.0.1 build.
Fresh XP bottle with IE7 + fonts installation allows this to cleanly run. Setup was not an issue, and the wizard exited cleanly. (The software does start automatically, so just close it to make the CO installer happy)

Another thread had mentioned that the settings were not saving...I did not have an issue with this.
My setup is for a fixed incoming and outgoing IP with fixed port. It remembered this after several restarts, along with where to store downloads, skin, and network (Gnu, Gnu2, Bit, donkey)

I managed to connect and maintain a longstanding connection to all networks without a hitch.

There are some visual artifacts, such as truncation of the dialog boxes when changing skins (esp Clean Blue). Just close using escape or the cancel, and re-enter the dialog.

There are some knowns with this software even when running under windows. If you force close it during a shutdown, you may have to re-do your settings, especially your share directory. This is not the fault of CO, but how the system constantly writes out its hashes. This also causes some visual "hangs" in the tool, as browsing a large share can cause the internal database to constantly rewrite itself.

After working with it a bit more...I wish to downgrade to a silver status.
1) Shareaza crashes a lot more than on windows with exceptions. (you get the bug capture screen built into the tool).
2) Does sometimes "forget" the settings to connect to the other networks (simple to fix, but annoying)
3) searching for something that generates a large amount of results, then selecting all for download can crash spectacularly...usually, this just results in visual lockup on windows.
4) clicking on a finished download can cause an exception to occur (25% of the time).
