Scottrade Elite (old) is being discontinued in Spring 2014

The original Scottrade Elite program has been working perfectly for me for years. I received notice yesterday that it will be discontinued by a completely new version (Scottrade Elite 2013) very soon. I just tried to install it under CrossOver and the installation fails. I really don't want to return to using Windows, so I hope someone looks at this. (I would be willing to work with someone to help resolve the issues with Scottrade Elite 2013 on CrossOver.)

This makes at least two of us. I successfully installed the 2013 version and it was running. But it failed and now it will not start. If there is anyone there interested in the dump let me know and I will send it. I don't want to have to run it in a VM either.

Is there a place to download a demo of the new version of Scottrade Elite?

I really don't want a Scottrade account. I was happy to step through until it asked for enough information to perform a credit check and pass my information off to a local office so they could assist me... no thanks to that. I'm good.

It's to be discontinued in September. Has anyone had any luck with getting 2013 version to run yet?

Caron, did you ever get a demo to try? I'm not sure it will run without having a scottrade account, but if there's any way I can help debug it, please let me know.

I am running it in virtual box right now. It's free and it works great except the cursor is so ridiculously slow that it's almost unusable. The other version of elite worked great in virtual box.

Please, if anyone knows how to get this to run, share it!

My experience with the new elite in crossover is that it installed, it ran, the charts worked great, but any time I pulled up a dialog box, it would crash. And there was no data whatsoever in my watch list, account, option windows. Only charts worked.

Apologies, I was on vacation. I don't have an account so I'm not a good candidate to test. However, if you are interested in testing and providing log files, the best thing to do is to file a Support Ticket or send an email to info@codeweavers.com. Fixing crashes within CrossOver helps everyone so if you include a log file, we can file a bug and get our developers to take a look.

You can collect a log file by following the steps here:

I have been successful in getting Scottrade Elite 2013 to work. I was a beta tester using Crossover.

The problem is of late, I can log in but data does not stream. I get the data as of log in but nothing after that.

I'm using latest version of Crossver on Yosemite.
