When I try to install SAS 9.1.3, the installation halts with "The InstallShield Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be launched." The "System Requirements Wizard" says no updates are needed.

When I try to install SAS 9.1.3, the installation halts with "The InstallShield Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be launched." The "System Requirements Wizard" says no updates are needed.
I succeded installing SAS 9.1.3 with CrossOver mac 6.0.
I forgot what i did exactly, but i think i installed microsoft jet 4.0 dll files manually.
Unfortunatly, SAS GUI failues at startup screen.
I had to use batch job mode like "sas.exe tmp.sas -print tmp.lst -log tmp.log"
The sas syntax file and output file are fixed in my environment, which was quite pain for me.
Carbon Emacs+ESS with slight hack also works with SAS.
