Sage Line 50 11.0 Forum

Using the sh installed version of v7.1.0 for a single user, I have failed miserably to get this to install. I am using a CentOS 5.1 system

For my next trick,I'm going to try using a version 6 bottle (under which I managed to get a reasonably clean install. (See my previous posts.) I'll then see if the v6 bottle runs any better under this version. The main issues being the need to use keys and shortcuts to identify/select widgets on the user interface. Also it will be interesting to see if the reproduceable 'crash' issue has been solved.

I selected this version, as I was hopeful that the support for this product might have improved,and as this version of the Sage Line 50 had given me the best result, I decided to attempt with this version first. Unfortunately it appears that my efforts so far have been in vain:(

Which version of Sage Line 50 Ver 11 have you had sucess with (Accountant / Accountant plus / Financial Controller / Financial Controller network)?

I ask because our co-operative (not-for-profit) [link=http://www.sundancerenewables.org.uk][/link] is hoping to upgrade our Sage.

We have been using Sage Line 50 version 7.00.0019 (single user) for that last 4 years under Crossover (presently version 6.0 also in a Win 98 bottle) in the Mandriva Linux environment of our office without any real problems.
