I receive an error that the installer fails integrity check and the installation fails.
Hi,
I can confirm the issue - I just tried on my iMac and received the same
error message very early on in the file download -- the error message appears
to be generated by the installer file itself being downloaded. My immediate
suggestion (and this is what I'm trying now) is to download the full client
installer (~1.5gb) first from the Ryzom site/links. Once complete, start the
crosstie installation again and manually select the full installer you grabbed.
If then it still fails, I'd need suspect something else is awry... let us know...
Cheers!
A bit of progress but not successful yet.
I downloaded the entire client and it did indeed allow the installation to complete. I am able to launch Ryzom and create a character but as soon as I try to launch the game things go badly pretty fast. First the screen flickers for a few seconds and the game takes over the display. This is despite the "windowed" setting being selected. The screen eventually settles on what appears to be a 1024x768 display size. The game area is displayed as blank white and the space outside that area is black.
After a few minutes both the game and cross over crash.
If I follow the recommendation to use the "emulate virtual desktop" setting then the game will not launch at all.
I will continue to try and get the game up and running and will continue to post my progress.
