As as far as this game runs, I get to a screen with pretty scenery, but no main menu text (Kinda like the L4D problem) If this can be fixed, I think it'll run great.

I have had the same experience as well. The game installs and updates itself without a hiccup, running exactly as it does on Windows. Once the game is launched you are presented with the 3D backdrop and music of the login screen, but the terms and login window never appear.
I think that it might be an internet issue. Since the game seems to be rendering fine, it must not be connecting to the servers correctly, which is why the login window never comes up.
So it is likely that there is an easy fix that will get this game running perfectly, we just haven't found out what that is yet.
I am having the same issues too. I have tried restarting the computer, and the program and I am getting nothing. It runs slowly for me, the little creek seems slow and such.
Exactly the same behavior here. Stucked at login window with just graphical background and main music title playing, as described earlier.
I'll add my own experience:
the same as you guys. For anyone not understanding what I think everyone here is talking about, here is an example picture.
I have a MacBook with the Intel GMA 950 though, and on the RoM site they say it's not likely to work on a system like mine. Double :(.
Does the same for me.
Someone, PLEASE fix this.
I was really looking forward to playing this while it was still in beta.
Yeah I can get it installed, but I dont get the pretty screen. I get a strange blue screen with a whiteish line through the middle.
What is even more strange is that when I run this through another Vista emulator, it is black for like 5 min (and everything, my mac OS included, is ridiculously lagged) then I get a screen with trees and running water (it is a still screen of course) with the EULA agreement. I am presented with the options to agree or cancel, but it is sooo lagged out trying to click either never works. Oh, and the text of the EULA isnt there, its just a box, with the options to agree or cancel.
Hey guys, I am working on trying to find a way to get this to run. Can everyone please share with me their specs?
Ex)
I am running a Macbook 4,1; 4GB ram; X3100 GPU; OS 10.5.6 ...and anything else you think might be relevant (Version of CxG).
One thought... there are some known regressions with the X3100 on 10.5.6, possibly related to CrossOver Games 7.2. You might get further if you stick to CrossOver Games 7.1.1 or 7.1.2.
well, I installed but it doesnt even load up, the application just quits after 5 seconds
