Hey All,

Has anyone gotten the latest Rosetta Stone v3.4.5 - 23970 working? I get the following error when starting the application:

2111
Fatal Application Error: #2111
Error #2032

I have installed MSXML v4.0 as per the wineHQ site but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

May i know which version of Crossover are you using ?

Are you using Linux or Mac .

Hm..installing MSXML v4 did help me to to install and use Rosetta stone 3.4.5 to a certain extend....But there could be other factors causing the problem

I'm using linux (Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04, I've tried it on two machines)

Both machines have CrossOver Linux Professional 9.0.0 installed.

The installation is in its own bottle as to not conflict with any other applications.

You would probably also need the .NET framework ..Install it from the Install windows software menu under runtimes...get .NET framework 3

Apart from that , also do try using the MSXML 6 from the installer menu ...

Note , install those that were mentioned before installing rosetta stone..
MSXML is required for the proper installation of Rosetta stone..
And probably..you might need some fonts too..( not too sure bout the fonts bit....Default fonts work fine for me :) )

Btw...are you using 32 bit or 64 bit ?

Try creating a Windows Vista bottle and installing into that. It worked for me, but for some reason Windows XP bottles end up with a lot of errors. I will try and see if I can resolved these errors at a later date. No extra software was required for installation under Windows Vista. I have not actually installed a language yet, but hopefully this gets you started.
