Cannot install (disc 1 won't eject)

I was able to start up the instillation well enough but when I had to insert disc 2, disc 1 would not eject. I tried the eject, key, ejecting in finder, and ejecting from crossover. Computer gave me a message stating that I should "try quitting application and try again." Any help would be appreciated.

I'd recommend using Toast to try ejecting.
