It installed on my macbook pro just fine, and opens to the main menu (you know, the one with the catchy music and all the theme parks in the background) but unfortunately, when trying to get any further than the main menu there are graphical errors on the screen (whatever level you select to play is "revealed" as the main menu screen slides away to the right rather ungracefully) and then you are promptly returned to the main menu. Really quite annoying because from the looks of it, all the way up to the main menu it seemed like it was going to work.

in my attempts to install the corkscrew follies and loopy landscapes in the same bottle as the original (since you have to or the expansion will ask that you "please install RCT first") the game would not even launch.

my tests were run using a 17"mbp
running Crossover Mac 6.1.0
on OS X 10.4.10

We have had reports that RCT does work on the Mac, albeit with some quirks. Check out this ticket: http://www.codeweavers.com/support/tickets/browse/?ticket_id=107873.

Note that CrossOver 6.1 supports installing DirectX, so you should do that rather than hunting around for the native DLLs as described in that ticket.
