The disc based releases of this title incorporate Securom disc-copy
protection (DRM), either v5 for early disc releases or v7 for the newer
disc releases -- afaik, neither of these Secorum versions work in OSX
due to the Apply scsi driver design - at a guess, this is what you're
seeing..ie; you enter the serial number, the securom executable tries to
access the disc media via direct scsi commands, which OSX doesn't allow,
and therefore 'nothing happens'...(whitescreen)..
If you live in a locale/jurisdiction that legally allows for the circumvention
of DRM under the auspices of 'fair usage', you may have some luck that way,
but because Codeweavers and this website are in the US, the rulings of the
DMCA laws prohibit discussion about that approach in these forums...see;
