I've installed the game and used a fix:

When I start the game I get a blank white screen, then a buggy dialogue box, then an error message reading 'missing or inaccessible data file'.

This exact problem was listed before in an older thread by a guy named Sven (sixth post from the bottom): http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=523;forum=1;msg=40523

A poster named Don solved the issue, but his solution involved following a link which is now broken!

I installed this game some time ago.
It worked perfect for me.

I do remember using the following advice to get it going;

Maybe the one you used isn't for the version you have installed.
