Rocksmith says RealTone cable not detected

Hi

The RealTone cable shows in lsusb, is set to default input in the input tab of linux's sound manager and is providing input into Audacity.

I read Silvio's suggestions in hints and tips but didn't need to apply them because the registry and rocksmith.ini were correct.

Rocksmith runs fine in a window and passes audio out but as soon as I go to the tuner it says it can't detect the RealTone cable.

This is a known issue under Windows according to the release notes on the Steam forums but the fixes all seem to depend on changing audio settings in Windows, namely restricting the number of audio input devices. I have no idea how to implement this in Crossover.

Any help gratefully received.

TIA

Hi,, what is your Crossover version? I haven't tried 18.5, yet.

Hi Silvio

It's crossover 18.5.

Edited to add greeting, sorry hadn't had enough coffee.
