Hi, Just got a new laptop with wimndows 7 prem. home user x86
I jave an old copy of Riven (for windows 95) and it wont even load - a message comes up which says 'The version of this file is not compatible weth the version of windows you are using'
I have tried all the compatiblity settings on the Riven setup file.
Any ideas on fixing this problem ?

Well you run windows 7. This program Crossover Games is for linux and Macs. So i think your not on the right place. Besides that, this version which works, is the dvd version with Myst 1 (Masterpiece),2 (riven),3 (exile).
