"The game is unable to download more data and will have to exit"

I installed the game using the CrossTie and the option to download the installer from Trion's servers (not Steam). The game installs fine, but exits with the message:

"The game is unable to download more data and will have to exit"

I'm using CrossOver 12.1.2 on Ubuntu Linux 12.04 LTS (64-bit).

I had the same issue and it was apparently because the "streaming client" doesn't work under wine. I let the launcher download everything, and it launched the next time with no problem.
