Floating head since 1.8

Since 1.8 the Elf models on both guardian and defiant in Rift have disconnected heads. While it was amusing at first to see my ton's head floating over random critters and mobs, it's now kind of getting annoying. Is anyone else seeing this running it with crossover on a mac? I have the latest iMac 27" with ATI 6770.

Have this exact same problem. Tried contacting Codeweaver support over this a few times but no reponse so far. It's getting very annoying to watch my head be all over the place XD

Our system does not show any support tickets or emails sent from your account. I'm not sure how you tried to contact us, but since it wasn't a support ticket or an info email (being the "official methods"), we probably did not see it. We don't reply to support requests on youtube or facebook, for example - there's a lot of social media out there and we just don't have the staffing necessary to provide tech support through it all, so we stick to requests sent directly to us via the tools on our website.

If you have a license for Crossover, you can file a support ticket, here:

http://www.codeweavers.com/support/tickets/enter/

Otherwise, you can send general info/help requests, here:

Sorry to bring this thread back up, but I can't find a fix for this issue either.

I have not had this issue have you tried client repair or reinstall? Are you using any addons?

We've actually confirmed this issue in-house but it is not as easy as one would think to reproduce it. Not all hardware is affected. It is a bit disturbing or amusing when it happens. We'll continue to work on it but given the number of people not affected and the difficulty we've had reproducing it, it is not a top priority bug.
