hey guys rift on the crossover keeps freezing. i load my character and everything works fine until it gets in-game. it just freezes my entire computer and then i need to restart it. any help?

Does the freeze happen as soon as you get in-game? Or are you able to play for a while and eventually it freezes?
If it freezes as soon as you get in-game, I'd try switching to the legacy renderer, which you can do inside RIFT's settings>video>advanced (you'll then have to re-start RIFT to make the switch complete) You can do this from the character selection screen.
If the freezes happen after playing for a bit - are you connected to the net wirelessly, or on a wired connection? If not on a wired connection, does using one improve the situation? Random freezes while playing MMORPG's is often indicative of networking hiccups, which can be a lot more frequent if you're wirelessly connected.
