I get to the launching screen then render error

I am running Ubuntu 11.04 on a DELL XPS 11.04 445m

and first i get a Error communicating with the patching process.

(Error #1026)
Last Message: 000006D

Then after that I get a:

Render failure, Compatibiliry reder will be enabled on next launch

can't go forward.

I did what was on the tip and tricks and now it works, I am so happy, and more since I already paid for the cxgames license. :)
