- Projected textures kill the FPS
- Performance with projected textures on medium seems playable... i was expecting a bit more.
- Pressing "c" for character screen crashes the game
I have a winvista bottle, does this has any impact?

so rift is playable in the winvista bottle?
Yes.
I will try to use a WinXP bottle today.
'm using the 10.1RC2
I reported this same pressing 'c' crash bug on the beta last week, however I have an ATI 4870. I've not found a way to work around the crash either (short of just not hitting 'c'). I've tried legacy rendering engine, current one, different levels of graphics, etc. It crashes no matter what it's set on.
Finally got it to run full screen with 10.1. MacPro with newest graphics card last year (same one as you). Gameplay is still too sluggish 2 levels of graphics quality under my bootcamp installation.
Guess i got spoiled, but unplayable for me. Simply going down a crooked road is hard, much less fighting in a rift. I gave up trying to melee, as I could not move into position even to just hit it, and just fired my bow. (my rogue is not a ranged one at all, just happened to have one)
I agree - I have this game running well on my MacBook Pro 13" with the 320m. Graphics are lower but it runs smoothly. Yet on my Mac Pro 2.8 Octocore with the 5770 it runs very poorly - far too laggy. I assume most of the coders use low end macs since the game seems to be optimized more for MacBooks.
I too have to run it in Bootcamp instead on my Mac Pro. Its Dissappointing how many mac apps really fail to use the power of the mighty Mac Pro =(.
i cant upload my rift version, somebody can help me?
