According to the current Rhapsody web site, it should install on a computer with Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player 10, Flash 8 or higher.
I tried creating a winxp bottle, installing IE 7.0 and WMP 10. Rhapsody appears to install correctly, but I get a fatal error a little while after the splash screen shows up on launch.
If anyone finds a workaround for this application, let me know. It would be nice to see it working under Linux.
I just tried the same process before coming here. Same problem of getting to the splash screen and getting a fatal error. Tried installing other components, but alas no progress.
Now that they have the Android native app, I am using Rhapsody more on my phone anyway now. I wonder if anyone has tried it with the "Games" CodeWeaver product? I do not see any discussion about that.
If anyone has ideas on how to get Rhapsody to work, I would be more than happy to play with suggestions and ideas. It seems like a blank wall -- no way up.
