New Rhapsody 10.5 out today, complete with support with bringing your songs over to some portable devices.
Sadly, neither Evan's instructions nor CrossOver 4.2 will complete the install.

The new version of Rhapsody is going to be major steps backwards compatibility-wise. Because it integrates the new To Go service, it tries to upgrade to Media Player 10. Needless to say, that won't work. It may not even get that far at this point, but that's what I observed doing a native Windows install.
Good news is they weren't forcing the upgrade yesterday, but that won't last indefinitely. Once they force the upgrade, Rhapsody will not work on any version of Wine, and I expect that to last for a while. I'm really debating whether to fight the good fight and keep my subscription to work on compatibility, or throw in the towel, as it isn't very useful to me now that I'm running Linux on almost all of my machines, and $10 a month is $10 a month.
Anybody from Codeweavers have any word as to whether WMP10 support is slated for 5.0?
Please, don't give up, you are my only hope to get rhapsody running on linux again.. I am running windows these days because of the new version of rhapsody, I can't wait to switch back to linux.
