Anyone tried the beta of the new version? Would be Interested if it works but there is no demo at the moment so it would be a risk.

...of a sorts ; it installs and starts, but the online
commerce stuff (which you need to buy a license) isn't
working. Then again, even windows users were having some
trouble with that, so...{shrug}...here's hoping they
get it sorted. I am however expecting rfactor2 to run
when released - it's using the same game engine afaik...
Cheers!
Would you mind posting again or adding it to the app database when you know it runs?
Hi,
...I added rfactor2 to C4...see;
http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name?app_id=9992
...I'll post back to the forum there about the new release,
as news about it becomes apparent =)...
Cheers!
I just get a memory dump when I try to run it using CX 11.0.3 on OS X 10.6.8. The install seems to go fine using "Other applications." Any special settings I should be tweaking?
Will keep working on it.
Solved my own question, partly. Installed to an XP bottle using the rFactor 1 install process, substituting the rf2 installer for the downloadable version. Only problem now is the online purchase/registration section gives a message that it cannot detect any hardware, yet the "configure sim" button sees everything it needs.

...you should be posting to the forum there wrt rfactor 2, which I
haven't really looked at yet...
