Revit on stable platform

The idea of revit running smoothly and powerfully on a stable operating system is great.

Lets get it up and running! With Revit, Autocad and Photoshop functioning, thousands of workstations in the drafting, construction and engineering industrys could switch over.

I think at this time we'll only be able to get an older version of Revit working. And, seeing that you can't save back to older versions with Revit, no one will use it. We'll have to wait until the .NET support in Crossover catches up, for as far as I can tell that's the biggest issue with trying to run Revit this way.

I recently found Revit 5.1 and 6 CDs, so when I get a chance I'll give it a try. If you're on Revit subscription you can use old versions legally.
