I use Revit every day, if Revit and Autocad would work on linux (Ubuntu in my case) there would be many users taking advantage of Linux's stability.

osx:
revit arch 09 doesn't work on my snow leopard.
it get's stuck in the installation after installing .net utilities and others.
"please insert disk"
works in vm fusion but that's just painful.
