Remedy ARS 6 Forum

"Remedy User" the ARS client installed with out a hitch under 6.0.1 and all screens look to display correctly, unfortunately I've found some serious problems with input fields. When I mouse or tab into a field on an open ticket I find that the field gets cleared and you loose the data. I'm able to run reports and change forms with out a problem and have let the client run for 8+ hours without crash though.

MAC CROSSOVER REMEDY USER

1. When installing into a WIN 2000 bottle pays to install IE6 first -- otherwise you may have issues with text displaying in the drop down windows / menus

2. If you want to open attachments - install OFFICE (200 / 2003), this will allow attachments to be opened by double clicking on them

I run Remedy User ver 6.0 full time, Monday to Friday and have no troubles ... in my WIN 2K bottle I have:

Office 2003 - allows me to open attachments
IE6 - thouh it doesn't show up in the programme menu
Visio 2003 - useful for me, as some atatchments in Remedy User are Visio drawings
CrossOver HTMl Engine
Windows Installer
msls31
Microsoft XML Parser
Remedy User 5.0
Remedy User 6.0

this works fine for me -- I think you can get away with just installing IE 6 though
