Remedy ARS 5 Forum

I have installed ARUser 5.1 on CW4.2. The install worked just fine and I can run the application. However whenever I try to login I get the following error:

Invalid access to your home path 'C:\Program Files\AR System\HOME'.
Please verify your home path location and security permissions.

I have verified that the path does exist and my user does have write access to it. Any help woudl be appreciated. I really need this app up and running ASAP.

Try this:

1. Log into your computer.
2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\AR System
3. Bring up the properties of the HOME folder
4. Go to the security tab, and give your account full control of the folder

This was the first obvious thing to do and unfortunatly I do have full control over this directory and all dirs above/under it. What is funny is Remedy is actually creating files in the HOME dir. So I really don't know why its complaining! Any more ideas woudl be greatly appreciated.

BTW . . . I have upgraded to CW5 but I am still having the same issues.
