I bought the Direct2Drive version of the game.
And because Impulse is TRASH!! i had to install it on my other windows laptop.
And copied the game folder to an external harddrive and pasted it an Windows XP bottle, installed directx9 old, in it. Via run command i ran the Red faction.exe file and
skipped the update to 1.1 and ran the game. It runs gorgious!

So i dont know how the cd version works because the direct2drive version has no cd copy protection.
And because i dont actually install the game i can't make an c4p file...sorry.

I can confirm the CD version works fine as well (Crossover Games 9.1 on Mac OS X 10.6.4). The game does have CD copy protection however.

The only issues I can see are a few flickering textures in game and the hint/mission screens flash up and disappear so fast between levels that I can't read them.
