Same issue here (running Mac OS X).
When you start the RO client, you get a white window (but you can hear music and sound effects), and to see the real window contents you have to drag the window offscreen, then back in (but it still won't refresh after that).
On previous versions of CrossOver Games it used to work, as well as it did on stock wine 1.2.x/1.2.x (with slightly reduced performance). I've also tried running ti on stock wine 1.3.x, which CrossOver Games 10 is based on, and it presents the same no refresh issue there.
I submitted a support ticket for this issue. 😊

Referring to the replies you got in the support ticket, if it's of any help, I can add that it's not a problem of the integrated intel graphics card, as I've tried it on an iMac with no intel integrated card. (I'd post this there, but I don't think I can add replies to tickets opened by others.) Here's the info from System Profiler:

The problem, actually, seems to happen only on dedicated graphics cards, as I've just tried it on my other computer (mid 2007 MacBook, intel GMA950), and it refreshes the window properly there, as it used to on earlier versions of CrossOver Games.
I've added your findings to the ticket. 😊
Seems like this is still an issue on CrossOver Games 10.1.

Yes, it's still broken for me also. 😥 I'm continuing to use version 9.2.
Hello,
I am looking into this. I have downloaded the Renewal client. I fixed an issue with the Tie file where there was a dependency missing.
I had very little luck running in windowed mode, but if i ran in Fullscreen i got to the login point.
I found that Ragnarok would crash when trying to patch but Ragnarok Renewal patched without issue.
Then I ran Valkryie and was able to login, create a character and appear to play without issue.
Could someone check this for me?
Also to be clear I am using CrossOver Games 10.1
I can confirm that the game is playable in full-screen mode using CrossOver Games 10.1. Amusingly, this functionality was broken in version 9.2.
If you haven't already seen it, I submitted a ticket for this problem. 😊
Yup it was a result of the bug, created from that ticket, that lead me here to test and try to help you all out.
Is fullscreen an acceptable workaround right now? I noticed this Tie file was rocketing up the charts and it would be sad to loose that momentum with a "Known not to work" ranking.
I will continue to look into the windowed mood issue to hope to get it working for our next release.

I don't think it's an acceptable workaround for the following reasons:
• Annoying glitches occur when running the client at certain resolutions in full-screen mode, including a white bar fixed at the top of the screen (which I think is the window's titlebar), desynchronisation between the mouse pointer's visible and actual position, and the Dock being visible.
• If I configure the client to run at my screen's native resolution, it isn't actually run in full-screen mode; its window is just sized to fill the screen, and you can still move it around by dragging its titlebar.
• You can't open multiple clients, which is an important requirement for some players.
I've just noticed that the problem doesn't occur if you run the client in full-screen mode inside a virtual desktop. However, this is annoying to configure and also prevents the opening of multiple clients.
For these reasons, I think it would be best for users to use CrossOver Games 9.2 for now.
By the way, thank you for working on fixing this problem. 😊
Thanks for testing.
I have found a solution that is working and can be done via the Tie file.
I added a registry key of
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D
OffscreenRenderingMode = backbuffer
that made window mode work for me without issue. Could you try that?
You can install again with the tie file into the existing bottle (it will set the key for you even if you cancel the actual install)
or you can install fresh, or even just powerup regedit in the bottle and add the key by hand.

Gasp! It works! Not only that, but it makes the graphics rendering significantly smoother! (I wonder what else can be tinkered with. 😀)
I'll update my medal ratings accordingly if I don't encounter any further issues.
Hey, I have a question..
I'm trying to multi client but when I click to open second window, my main window pops up again. Isn't it possible to multi client with crossover games? I don't get it, please help X___X
