So it's been awhile. New 3rd jobs, and NEEDED update installer.

Has anyone gotten the new .msi installer to work correctly on their crossover?
I'm quite curious, as i've gotten pretty much back into the game because of all the renewal business, and what not. So yeah. I'm going to see if that C4P thing will help me. But if not, maybe there is something i can do to help get the newer version working?

Edit : I'm using a Mac. Professional Version 9.0.1 I will update to the newest stable version and see if that does anything.

Nevermind, i guess this can be locked, with the newest 9.2.0 crossover pro, it installed just fine. The thing is though, we should probably update the c4p. I think it might be out dated? Thanks crossover team for the awesome program.

Hi,

Actually, no, the C4P profile isn't out of date as such - it's been coded for
Crossover Games 9.1 or better....not for Crossover Pro. If you have Pro, you
already have a license for Games...you just need to download the Crossover Games
9.2 demo, and register it with the same credentials you used to register your
copy of Pro...

The fact that Pro runs the game, is this coincidental, or wouldn't it work in Games?
If you haven't tried installing this title using the C4P profile and using Crossover
Games 9.2, it would be interesting to know whether that works for you or not.

I'm using Crossover 9.1, I believe, yesterday Renewal was working fine, with the exception of blurred Basic Info box, and the disappearance of the side buttons, such as option, skills, items, etc. I was able to cope with it.
However, today the whole program refuses to start up, it always freezes when i try to load Ragnorak.
When I asked a tech on the RO official site, they simply told me to redownload the client, but don't think that will work as I am using crossover.......?
Any help is appreciated! thanks

Are you using CrossOver or CrossOver Games?

CrossOver Games, sorry I didn't specify.

Just to clarify, is the name of the application you're using, as shown in Finder and on the Dock, ‘CrossOver Games’ or ‘CrossOver’? If the answer is the former, did you use my guide to install the client?

It is definitely CrossOver Games. and yes i installed it as per your guide, but it's only with the recent new Renewal update that it's acting up. Was there a new section in your guide in regards to Renewal?

I did revise the guide for Renewal, but the instructions are fundamentally the same.
